Default Hard top with removalable side windows (dog friendly)

Hey guys Im posting this up to see if there is a market for Hardtops with removal side windows. I personally always wanted it and finally pulled the trigger and built some. Looking for feedback , and if it is something people want I might could make a kit to allow people to retro fit theres.

It consist of a metal frame made 1/8th steel, I used 1/4 hardware with 8 mounting points. For now im using foam sealant for a gasket and the glass is secured to the frame using adhesive sealant. Heres a few pics, I ordered rubber nuts instead of the metal nuts and washers in the pics. Also it will be for a more clean look and less chance of vibrations.

Heres a few pics.

This the frame before it was attached to the window

This is the reason why I personally wanted to have a top with removal windows....

Great idea and a killer looking rig. If I still had my hardtop, I would be interested in this

What's the chance of over torquing 1nut and breaking the window? It is a great idea though

Can't break the glass . It's attached with a tuber silicone adhesive . It will give first id imagine . Also that's why I think the rubber nuts are better fit. Thanks !

Thanks man. ! I can't use the soft top due to my SUT cage for my other hardtop. I use to do the same thing with my soft top and the pup loved it . Kept him covered and let a breeze in.

The first time I pulled the fronts off my hard top, I thought, how come the back windows don't pop out?
I have even thought of getting a older (broke) top to see if I could figure something out. Pop out like a van window but also be removable, if that makes sense...
