For wiring go to a welding shop and use welding cable. it is much cheaper, more flexible and has a better sheath than regular battery cable. I recommend 2/0 or larger for high amp/winching vehicles.

Its actualy installed in my lifted 94 Isuzu Amigo
so the pics would be of little "jeep" help.

You can put the battery pretty much anywhere you can stuff one. The place I see with 'minimal" work would be to relocate the washer bottle to anywhere it would fit, put a battery holder there and move the relay/aluminum computer thing back enough to fit a optima.
