Default duck-work going behind the wheel ?

I too am looking for a snorkel that does not require hood chop. But I don't like the duck-work going behind the wheel like that...

The SS1066HF model that he is referencing is for left hand drive Jeeps, according to the site.

Seems kinda odd to hack a hole half on the fender and half on the body. I think it looks better than the AEV overall since you don't have a plastic tube running down the hood above the fender, but I'd just hate to hack into the body like that. I'd just get the AEV hood with the hole precut for the AEV snorkel, but that would more than double the cost.

I spoke with the company a few months ago about prototyping the snorkel on a left-hand drive. They said they have all the pieces necessary for the install but haven't tested it yet. Then they stopped speaking so I never tested it for them. You might give them a call and see if they want to do a trial.
