I think my fox 2.0 Ifp shocks are a bit harsh on the road, but they shine in rough terrain off road. Just something to think about. I've heard the bds version of the same shocks are softer. I've also heard that teraflex has fox shocks with their specific valving and they ride good. Hopefully you get it figured out.
