Default Having a hard time installing new bumper

I bought a new front bumper on eBay. I got the bolts on driver side lined up and passenger side is off by about an 1/8-1/4" help! What to do!
First pic is bumper picture from eBay.

Make sure all bolts are loose. Put a floor jack under the side that doesn't line up. Pump the jack to get alignment. I had to do this on my XRC rear bumper.

I don't think the bolts can be loosened on new bumper. I'll look again. Also it's not lining up left to right. Thinking I may have to use a come along to pull it ?

come a long seems like a good path. If the holes are close, sometimes you can insert a drift pin through the holes and kind of pry to get them aligned.

Sometimes those front bumpers have to go on very evenly....like if you have that one side pushed all the way on, I can see how the other side might not line up. I've had em where it really takes two people working together and mounting each side at the same pace to get it to line up. That said, yours looks off by a decent bit and can't tell how far the one side already on while you're struggle with the other side.

Thanks. It's off by enough that it seems impossible to have centered and get either side on. I'll get help later this week and try more but think come along might be trick :-(. eBay listing has recent feedback with same issue. Sounds like China engineer measured once before welding. Ha.

If it's as far off in reality as the pictures make it look then you should be posting an eBay username of who to avoid and telling them it's coming back on their dime. I had an issue pretty similar and eBay buyer protection had me covered while the company that measured once and went weld crazy was trying to shy away from their responsibility to provide a product that properly fit.

Send it back but **do not** leave feedback until the situation is 100% resolved. That can bite you if you prematurely leave feedback.

Very smart move on your part. It should not be a struggle on your part, but a direct easy bolt on. Send it back for a REFUND before you end up damaging it and just buy a better engineered bumper.
