This is exactly it. I have 4" lift (measured) and it took 3 full turns to adjust them....counter clockwise lowers, clockwise raises.

Disco Dave,
You don't have to adjust your headlights. Just remove all that getto boombox blingin' thumpin' woofin non-offroadin' stereo stuff...
Then the springs would decompress and be a real 3" lift. Then you could get rid of the body lift.

But wait, maybe all that extra stereo gear gives you more traction...

I hope you know I'm just kidding. But I will say that when I was schlepping around all my bass guitar amps, p.a.'s etc., the back end of my old Trooper would droop sending the headlight beams too high. Of course, my Ampeg rig weighed almost 300 pounds by itself.

I do applaud you for trying to get those HIDs pointed down. Their usually sharp cutoff causes on heck of a "flashing" effect do to road bumps. Drives me crazy.

There is only one screw at 2 o'clock (drivers side), and one at 10 o'clock on the passenger side. Both have a little indentation to allow access to the screw. The other 4 screws hold the reflector in.

(The indentation at 8 o'clock is for overseas use where the horizontal axis can also be adjusted.)

Just kiddin, Thanks for the info, they just dont work in a blinding snow when they are pointed way down the road. next on my list of things to do.

A narrow flathead screwdriver will fit in there and works just fine, if you don't have or want to buy that torx bit.
Might fit in the small grill detent more easily as well.

Gosh damn! I blind people with stock headlights because they are up so high but I take it as a JK thing because almost everyones light are up high. Alot of guys I have talked to don't care but I really don't want to blind people...lol. I hate to see what people think about HID's . I think I will go ahead and point mine down. I haven't used my brights since day one

Great write-up and right on time for me since my 4" Superlift is on the UPS truck . It has gotten really old to have oncoming cars flash their brights at me cause they think mine are on... I'd hate to think how often it would happen with 4" of lift

THANKS AGAIN!!
