Default Hella Windshield Lights

I'm looking for pictures, and more importantly thoughts from anyone running Hella 500's on the windshield. I have the RR mounts and want to put some lights up. I really want the KC SlimLights, put I have my Hella's from my old rig and thought saving the $170 seemed like the better idea.

Is there a lot of hood glare? How do they hold up on the highway, lots of noise? Pics and comments appreciated.

Thanks guys and gals.

I will be putting KC slimlites on myself (waiting on the brackets still). I would also like to know if anyone has any issues.

That's good news - looks like I'll save the Slim Light money for something else and go with the Hella's I already have.

Thanks man!

I'm running Rallye 4000s. Hood glare is not a issue.

The RR mounts came in and I'm still waiting on the lights. I mounted the mounts and they have a considerable amount of road wind noise on their own. I hope this stops when the lights are installed.

I know you where looking for the 500's but for what it's worth, these are the "Black Magic" Hellas, with Delta mounts.

It's facing into the sunset, so the lights are a little deceiving, they are almost black when looking at them head-on. BTW the clear covers are a must.

No wind noise and no blind spots.

No buyers remorse whatsoever.
