Default Help with 2 different wheel fitments

I have a stock Sahara JKU. I am looking at 2 different 18" wheels and need help with the better figment.

Wheel A. 18x9. 0" offset and 5" backspace.

Wheel B. 18x8.5. 35mm offset and 5.8" backspace.

Which will fit better? Which will stick out further? Do I need spacers?

Cheers!

Wheel A will stick out farther. Neither will rub with stock width tires. They recommend 4.5 backspacing with larger tires. Wheel A sounds like the better option to me.

Wheel A is a Mamba M2. Will it stick out passed the fenders? What are the specs for the stock Sahara 18" wheels?

My wheels are 9 inches wide with 4.5 inches of backspacing. Here's a pic with 33x12.50's.

That's cool. Thanks! So with 5" backspacing, the Mamba's will stick out 1/2" less than those right?

I can't seem to find the specs on the 18" stock Sahara wheels. Looks like they are just about all backspace...

The stock wheels are 18 x 7.5 with 6.25 bs.

The stock tires are 255/70R18, which is 10.2 width and 32.1 height. The tread width is just 7.5 though. I'd check out tirerack.com, they have all the dimensions for the tires. Not sure what tire you are going to but keep in mind your stock ones are only recommended for 6.5-8.5 width rims so if you go to a 9 incher you might get odd wear and you won't be able to air down much at all without risking loosing the bead.

Yeah, I am gonna use my stock 255/70/18 tires since 4 have 15K miles and 2 have 0 miles (or will once I get CIGAR196's spare this week so I can have 2 new tires in the rotation).

So the 9" Mamba may not work out so well?

So let me do the math...

18x9 with 5" BS. That essentially means it will stick out 4" to the front right? As opposed to 1.25" on the stock wheels...

18x8.5 with 5.8" BS means it will stick out 2.7" to the front. Almost 1.5" further than stockers. Kinda like having a 1.5" wheel spacers on stockers???
