Help!
Okay guys last time I got shafted by doing my
Front springs alone in the dark.. NOT THIS TIME..
I was wondering if there was any easy way to pop put the front springs to put a 1inch spacer on top to level them.. Can I just disconnect the sway bar and pick up the front passanger wheel with a forklift and then work on the driver side just pop out the 2.5 in spring and do that? Or what do you guys suggest is the quickest way? I'm gonna be doing this alone again.

Wait spread the axel and my jeep with my
Factory jack? I have floor jacks and stands. I just want to know if there is an easier way.... I have a 2.5 in teraflex lift, and 35s and just need to pop in that spacer.. How exactly would I distance anything with the factory jack??

I think what Nebraska was saying is to jack your front end up, put it up on jack stands, and carefully lower your axel to create separation of the axel and the frame to allow the spring to loosen up. Assuming you have already disconnected your sway bar and disconnected your shocks you can create a larger gap if you take your factory jack and put it between your axel and a part of your frame and carefully separate them to allow the spring to come out easier. This is also much easier if you have another jack stand that can be placed on the opposite side of the axel from the side you are working on this will create a leverage to help the working side separate more. Also it helps if you have a bottle jack as it will make placing it between the axel and frame easier. I used this method on front and back and can get my coils out and back in by myself with no issue. I wish I would have taken some picks during the separation but here is one with the spring installed just after I removed the jack you can see the 3rd jack stand leveraging the axel in the foreground

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh okay ( idea just made sense) I get it, that's what I did last time...., but turned into a real knuckle buster cause there was a storm and a power outage happened and I was using my works office it was a very unpleasant night. Haha.. However the jack between the axel and frame I'm deff gonna try that! Thank you for taking the time to explain it! Cheers!!
Pics are of last time! Was going great up until it got dark all I had was a flashlight.. This time I'll be ready. Got lamps just in case and now I'm gonna whip it out in 30 tops!
