Default Help!

I recently put 285/75/16 Procomp all terrains on a 2 door Jeep Wrangler Jk. My question is this..what would be a good tire pressure to run in those tires? I am not using it for off roading, just as an everyday fun vehicle. I have a Rhino for the offroad...anyway, I was curious about the pressure...also, I have noticed that the ride is slightly rougher as I figured it would be..what is something else I can do to make the ride smoother>

I appreciate all the help guys...Thanks

Do a chalk test.

1. Get a piece of sidewalk chalk.
2. Draw a line across the top of the tread.
3. Drive straight for about 100 ft. or so.
4. Check the line to see where it wears off.
- If it wears off in the center you have too much air.
- If it wears off on the edges you don't have enough air.
- You want it to wear off evenly across the tread, which gives you the best foot print.
5. Document the tire pressure and run your tires at that pressure.

Note: I will probably be around 28 to 30 lbs., but do the test to make sure.
