Question Help - Accu Pro or Hyptertech ? & When

I am in need of recalibrating my speedo - now running 33's (stock was 32's).

It's and auto tranny w/4.10's.

I find the power is not that different except at highway speeds when I hit an incline - for now i just tap the o/d off button and its good -

Will the hypertech make that big of a difference? Or should I go with the Accu Pro and just deal with the loss of power on the highway the way I have been?

How much is my MPG off for real? Right now the dash computer is showing a 4 mpg drop with the new tires - can going from 32x10 to 33x12.5 make that big of a difference or is it mostly the incorrect odom giving me bad info? If I go with the hypertech will I get some of this back? I won't be using the premium fuel option?

What are the details with the upgrade for the accu pro unit, turning it into a hypertech max programmer? What does this cost and has it worked?

Lastly, I have not had the flash for the antilock recall - how will this impact the programmer - can it be done after i program or do I need to roll back to stock? Will the programmer work w/o the flash for the recall?

Thanks!

Thanks bOLsAK=3,
I've subscribed to that post and it seems mostly about the technical problems, I'm more looking for application advise on which to use.

Well, That would be the first place I would ask since it's being monitored by most of the guys who own one. You can also PM any one of those guys to get their input.

get the accu pro thats what i did

then i upgraded it to the power pro, which is the same thing as the max energy

the accu pro gives you the ability not to spend 400 bucks right now, spend 200 now, and when you have more cash then you can spend 200 more and get the power options

The difference in the circumference between 32" and 33" is 5% so this accounts for a 5 % diff on the odometer i.e when your Jeep thinks its 15 miles it has travelled you have gone 15,75 miles with the 33" tires.
(But not all 33" inch tires are 33", to really know you should measure your tires).

Berra, is that 15.75?

jeepik, what's your set-up (tranny/gear)? Did you notice a change in the computers MPG after you calibrated?

Thanks both!

Jim
