Default Help aev 2.5

Please help. I'm installing AEV 2.5 on my 13 JKU. Is there a trick to installing the right front shock top nut? I can't seem to have enough clearance to get the Allen key in the top of the shock to hold it from spinning.

I cut the plastic piece just enough to get the tool in also.

I used a torch to heat the end of a putty knife till it was red hot and it cut through the plastic nice and clean until I had enough clearance. I reheated if several times during the 10 minute job.

If you don't want to cut your Jeep up, remove the battery and tray. Poor design by Bilstein. Makes me wonder what other compromises they made on these shocks supposedly designed for the JK.
