Default help asap! how do i measure the trackbar!

I am currently installing my rock krawler 2.5" stock mod

Instructions say to set the trackbar to 32 9/16" which seems to be as small as the bar can get. O am assuming I measure from center of bolt hole to the other bolt hole center...

Anyway, the only way to actually make the bar for back in the brackets was to add 1/2" to either end. Is this ok? How do I adjust it to be perfect? How do I test its alignment?

Also instructions say not to allow more than 1/2" of thread to extend past the jam nut. That seems to be about where I am at now?

Use WOL write up on centering the axles. It is simple and will work for you.

I'm sure the link above shows how to center an axle. but it's pretty easy with just a tape measure and a level (I use a 3" level to do it in one shot). You just create a verticle line on the outside of the flare on both sides and measure to the outside of the tire on each side. get them consistent with track bar adjustments (and pushing on the jeep to get the bolts to line up) and you're done.

Easy one man job, but two could make it even quicker...
