Default Help with BB

Ok so after looking at some of my options for lifting my jeep to get more clearance and bigger tires. I am a noob at this and just want some input. I don't have a lot of money and so far i was thinking of a RC 2.5 spacer bb with quick discos or the teraflex 2.5 BB. Just wnat to know what the pros and cons of both. Or some input for better ways to get good clearance and bigger tires 35's hopefully. I have a 2011 JKUnlimited bare bones stock right now. I know to eventually fit 35's i would need proper backspacing.

Please help i'm a noob and want to do it right the first time. I will probably want more lift when warranty runs out and i have a more of an idea of what style of 4x4ing i do etc.

TF 2.5" BB is plenty for clearing 35's .... I ran one for about 8 months before my coil lift and was very pleased.. Make sure the kit has shock extensions and rear brake line relocate bracket.

As for back spacing, you will want a rim with at least 4.5" of back spacing.

You will also need to trim rear pinch seams as well..

Heard a lot of good things about teraflex just wondering if the quick discos would be an advantage to the other one as well. Backspacing is also key wont have the wheels right away so just bigger ones on stock sahara rim until i get some cash. thanks for input

Your gonna want wheel spacers then... My suggestion is 1.5" spidertrax, which will bring you down to 5" of back spacing.

Yes, JKS quicker disconnects (my choice) are def a good mod. Your front sway bar links are going to be to short... You can run the stock links, but I would not recommend it. I've seen them flip (because of sway bar angle) while on the trail and get stuck in some axle components.. Plus, they are a pain in the butt to take off and put back on..

For quality go for the teraflex and add some jks discos and your set. You will need to use wheel spacers as mentioned if you plan to use the factory wheels

ok guys thanks for the input the only way i can afford the quick discos is if i buy RC ones cause together its the same price as the teraflex BB. I don't have any extra cash really cause of university in the states as i'm canadian and can't work down here. But i found a thread that has some cheap quick discos that can be made yourself, and seems as though no one is having problems.

Is there any other setups that you guys would suggest that is around the same price as the teraflex BB i heard AEV isn't bad but its only 2" and can't fit 35's apparently

Honestly, you could get away with 2" spacers in the front (level it) and bump your stock springs to 18/59 (front/rear) or 19/60... Trim your pinch seams, wheel spacers and you could run 35's...

I have ready lift adjustable spacers I'm trying to get rid of if interested..
