Default help with breaks

So i did my breaks yesterday and today while driving to school i feel the steering wheel shaking around 55 mph its while driving not while breaking... did i do something wrong? I got my rotors cut so they are like new so did i do something wrong?:/ please help

I think even if someone messed up the resurfacing of the rotors they don’t have enough mass to shake all that much… unless it was a seriously lopsided resurfacing job.

Maybe you lost a balancing weight during the maintenance. Look for extra clean/shiny spots on the edge of your front rims where a counter weight would have been installed.

Beyond that I would suspect the reinstallation of the rotors or wheels. If they are off kilter the steering wheel would shake back and forth rather than just a general vibration.

Also double check the lug nuts got torqued. If aftermarket lug nuts are being used(with the hole all the way through), make sure they were not installed backwards. Cone side should face inward.
Have seen both of those happen more than you would think.

It does shake back and forth im going to try rotating the tires and i also saw my steering wheel is off to the left a little:/
