It may be pricey but it's worth it. I have the metalcloak coils after having other coils and I'm particularly happy. I saved a couple bucks by piecing together what they suggest to have in the kit. I'm running the equivalent of that kit on my daily driver (20-30k a year) and I'm quite happy. She also does really well off-road. You can do 33's or 35's. I chose to do that kit and then trim my factory flares- not completely flat, but enough to buy some more clearance.

Maybe i'll go back to the teraflex 2.5 with shocks

with a front adjustable track bar.

Do I still need a FRONT CONTROL ARM RELOCATION KIT for caster correction?

I recommended this kit due to the fact yours is mainly a daily driver. An off road only rig can get away with minimal stuff but to have a good safe on road vehicle you need to invest more on components to correct things that get screwed up when you lift the jeep. This kit has the things you need at minimum and if prices are too much then you should look at other kits that offer the same components not cheaper kits that leave things out.

To answer your question yes you still need either relocation brackets or adjustable set of control arms for caster correction. That kit also does not include extended brake lines.

You need to realize that the money in a lifted jeep is all about onroad manners. in a sense, it's actually easier to build a dedicated trail rig in the respect you don't have to worry about road manners at all. The real problem is that everyone wants a lifted jeep, and very few want to pay what it really takes to do it right. You've gotten great advice and opinions above. Modding vehicles isn't cheap. You sure can't do it (well) for $700-$800 and end up with something you love....unless you just plan to look at it and not drive it.

NO... The only thing you NEED for a 2.5" lift is the 2.5" coils or spacers. The rest of it is personal opinion, preference, and budget. But if you sit back and think about it, the opinions you are getting are from people who have been where you are. People who have experienced some of the negatives to lifting --> and how those negatives are corrected. But it's your money, and you have decided to go as cheap as possible because you are still convinced that all of the added components are solely for offroad use, so buy whatever incomplete kit you want. Drive it. See what YOU think of the handling. Then keep coming back to complain and we'll tell you how to fix it.

Companies sell minimal kits like the two you posted simply to suck people in with the low, low price tags, knowing all along that they will be back to purchase more components when they realize it drives like crap...

Avoid the Teraflex you'll end up lighter in the pocket when you replace it in 8 months. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.
