Default Help Choosing Shocks

Even though I have been on the JK scene for some time now, and done quite a few mods, I have a dilemma. Normally through my own choices and the very educated opinions on here, I never have any questions what to buy. However, I am stuck on shocks. I currently have a 3.5" Skyjacker lift. This is the lift that came with the nitro 8000 shocks, springs, bump stops, and track bar relocation brackets. The lift gave me right at 4" all around. I also have .75" spacers up front to level. I do not yet have steel bumpers and a winch, but will be soon ordering Expedition One front and Rear Trail series bumpers and a winch up front.

Anyway, long story to say, the Nitro shocks, which I wasnt overly impressed with are shot. I need new ones...badly. What do you guys recommend? I am not looking to break the bank...I know teraflex, rubicon express and bilstein 5100s all have good reviews. What do you guys recommend? What length do you recommend?

Thanks for the help, and I LOVE the forum...I read it multiple times a day.

You can't go wrong with the OMEs or Bilsteins. Search for the shock poll thread for plenty of good comments.

Any more opinions? Also, what size would I actually need? I don't want to be using the shocks as bump stops or anything. Thanks again!

Might have to get four of those or maybe just step up to the double throw down system you guys offer.
