Help with Clanking
Something in the rear is clanking really bad. It's been doing this for a long while, however I assumed it was my hitch cover as it fits loose in the receiver. That is not the case as I removed it today and it's still clanking. I have checked everything we took apart when the we did the lift and it all appears to be tight. The only thing I notice is the bottom of the coils on both sides where they meet up with the axle are not exactly in the same postion on both sides. Meaning they are twisted just a tad different.
2.5 Teraflex BB with 35/12.50's on stock Sahara wheels. It's a 2dr if that makes a difference and I have about 9K miles on it. The lift was done back in January when I had 200 miles on it.
I should add I have been through a few construction sites very lightly, but for the most part I drive on the street. (mall crusier as you guys would say)
It does not do it all the time, but if I were to say back out of my driveway, when I put the clutch in and the tires go off the drive way it will do it, or I travel on a light dirt road to get to the mountain bike trails it will do it real bad, basically when the suspension contracts a bit
I don't want to take it to the dealer yet, as I am worried if they blame it on the lift (which is prob. the cause I'm guessing) it will get into the computer I had a problem as a result of a lift and any future warranty problems could become an issue.
Thanks in advance with any help.

Have you checked your brake line extentions? I have seen a case on another jk where the brackets were installed wrong and were making contact with the swaybar. That could be the cause of the clank you are hearing. Just something to check
