Help with door sill protection!
Hey guys,
I have a blown out knee and getting in and out of the JK is a pain at times. I've managed to wear down the paint on my door sill to the point where the metal is showing. I've attached a picture of what i am talking about. I am not too concerned about the missing paint on the interior of the door sill but i am concerned about the bare metal at the outside of the door sill. You can see the bare metal when the door is closed so i know its exposed to the elements. Aftermarket door sill protectors are great for protecting the interior of the sill but they don't cover the area that i am concerned with.
I want to apply a thin coat of bedliner to the area but I was wondering if it would affect the seal around the door? Please feel free to share any valuable information or ideas. THANKS!!!!!!!
