Default Help, drive shaft is pausing

I have been having a jerking motion when making tight turns. I ran along the side of my jeep as my son made tight turns to see if I can see the problem. The drive shaft was not turning at a constant velocity. It looked as though it would pause and then speed back up. Timing was consistent with the jerking motion of the jeep. I do have an Aussie locker in the front.

I thought perhaps this had something to do with the wobble I am getting at high speeds.

On the Northridge site it states the Aussie has not been tested on the new JK's yet. Thats probably the problem. I know a lot of people have still installed them but thats why I'm waiting.

its the front dirve shaft and its in 2wd. I have a video of it, but not sure how to post it. The pause is not consistant. It will turn at a constant speed for a few seconds, and then just pause.

I didnt like the way my aussie felt in the front so I had it yanked. It felt like it was engaged all the time or something. Are you sure it was shimmed correctly?

I used thrust washers off a YJ as they were slightly thicker than the TJ ones I got from Dave. It put the locker into spec.

Why don't you go over to the torq-masters web site and shoot them a email describing the problem. I'm sure they can tell you whats wrong. Probably a defective locker.

Here is the link... you can clearly see the pause around 20 to 25 seconds into the video
