I was going to go for a 34 inch tire but I got some feedback in picking tires and many recommended duratracks for everyday driving with snowy winters.
305/70/17 is what I wanted but I guess they don't make duratracks in that size.
Can anyone with duratracks go out and put a measuring tape across the spare? I'd like to know what it actually measures w/o the jeep on it.

Though I can't help with that specific tire size, I have a set of duratracs on my jeep and I can't say enough about them. Street, rain, snow, mud, rocks this tire drives over or through all of it almost like it's pavement. They clear mud really well and they're not loud on the street.

 

I have the 315/70r17. The spare measures 34.25"ish and they measure 33.5" under load.

I will chime in as well and say that I absolutely love my Duratracs. I am amazed that they are extremely quiet on the road.
