Default Help with Flex

I currently have the Teraflex 3 in lift and 1.5 spacers ad shortned bump-stops under the front of my 08 Unlimited. No arms or anything, and I am really un-happy with the flex. If I go to 4.5 dual rate coils, control arm drop bracket in the front. 6in teraflex shocks and spring retainers, will my flex increase by a substantial amount? I included a picture with my current flex.

Flex looks fine to me. Since you have factory flares, flex always looks less than those with flat flares. What size shocks are you running? Are they long enough to compensate for the spacers? Those could be limiting your travel.

That's actually not bad. More flex brings more little problems to troubleshoot.
Longer shocks and control arms with flexy joints help.
I have 4.5 coils. Fox 6in lift shocks and Metal cloak arms. Had to get longer brake lines and went thru 3 front driveshafts real quick .
Mine on same ramp.

That's actually the point on the ram I am trying to reach. Where the center support comes down. So am I on the right path? Will ordering the dual rate coils and longer shocks with spring retainers help me?

Coils aren't gonna really get you more travel and your looking for more down travel. Raised shock mounts, longer shocks but your gonna need to enlarge your bumpstops. And yes longer brake lines and some coil retainers

The reason i was going to larger coils, is because I am running 3in lift coils and 1.5in pucks. Just trying to keep them from coming un-seated. Does anyone have any experience with the lower control arm drop bracket? I know it helps with on-road behavior, but will it help extend the travel due to the lower position of the control arms?

I have the drop brackets and I would say yes to a point.

What size tires are you running?

I would say the coils will help with a little more up travel. But the shocks are usually the limiting factor.
I have 12 inch travel shocks and the room to use all the travel with my 4.5 lift.

I have raised rear shock mounts on the lower rears with gives me a few more inches of droop.

My spring still comes unseated in the front but the bumpstop holds it in.
Make sure you have plenty of brake line and ABS line.

The stock control arms are only gonna flex so much. Just changing my control arms from factory to Metal cloak gave me a bit more on the ramp.
This was when I had stock arms and Teraflex 4inch lift shocks.

I have a buddy running 12"travel shocks on a 2 door with 4 door stock coils he gets more travel than me. Your 3" coils are fine. You have to tinker with your shocks/shock mounts and bumpstops and yes better joints on you arms will help a little but no need for coils at all. Aslong as you get retainers. You can always remove your rear away bar too but that won't help you on a ramp
