Help! Having clutch issues
I recently had my Clutch replaced about 4 months ago after the stock one somehow seized to the flywheel. This friday after my father had taken it to work while his truck was at the shop, the clutch was extremely soft and had no resistance to it, but had an on and off clutch feel. Now i went to move it tonight into the driveway due to street cleaning tomorrow and now I cant even get it to go into gear unless its turned off. If i put in in 1st while off, and start it with the clutch fully pressed the vehicle wants to move but you cannot get out of gear unless its shut off. I find it hard to believe the dual friction centerforce I had installed already took a shit on me. Could it possibly be one of the clutch/slave cylinders causing this problem????? Theres no fluid dripping anywhere!

I just had my Slave replaced. Same thing. Luckily I drove it to the dealer on back roads and only got caught at one light where I had to shut it off, put it in first and launch it with the starter.
Had I known its an external Slave I would have just brought it home and done it myself. For some reason I was thinking Hydraulic TB.
But mine was visibly leaking out of the bell housing.
It shares a reservoir with the Brake Master.

Mud inside the bell housing can cause the fingers of the pressure plate to bind up sticking the clutch plate to the flywheel.
Clutch won't disengage, you can shift gears with the ignition off but not when the engine is spinning.
Might be worth trying to loosen it up by spraying water into the bell housing through the open slot in the bottom. Locked open garden hose sprayer taped to a floor jack works.
Might take a while to dissolve the dried up caked on mud stuck in the pressure plate fingers but it's worth it when it works.
Clean water won't damage anything on your clutch so keep spraying as long as dirt comes out.
Try your clutch out every once in awhile and rock the jeep back and forth in gear and see if it breaks loose.
Good luck, hope you don't need another new clutch.
