Default Help! I have rusty nuts!

So I bought black lug nuts to match my rims in Sept. Now half way through the winter they are already rusting and look like crap. Do I just paint them in the spring or buy new ones, do I go chrome, or does anyone else have any fantastic ideas?

Spray paint them black, but use rustoleum... that should keep them nuts from rustin'

I would recommend you see a doctor.

My Crager center caps are rusting. I'm going to hit them with Rustolem on my next tire rotation.

If you paint them, the paint will strip with the tighting of the lugs.....

Now for your rusty nuts, clean them out and get some......if you do not use them thats what happens

Looks like I will clean them up in the spring, put them back on and touch them up with somke paint. I too figured the paint would strip right off when the wrench hit them.

Oh yeah, I just had my physical so I'm all good!
