Default Help with lift kit decision

I'm between two lift kits, maybe you guys can help.

I recently installed 285 70 17 Duratracs and new Tracker wheels. I'm getting a little Fender rub when i run her hard in and out of pockets and such. I want a lift to eliminate the rub, but also to give me a little more suspension travel and to accommodate the weight of accessories I'll add in the future.

So the Synergy starter kit is a 2" coil lift and with Fox 2.0 shocks costs about 1100.

The AEV 2.5" lift costs about the same but has Bielstien shocks.

Here's the thing: the AEV lift seems to be a more complete kit. It seems to be comparable to the synergy stage 1 kit, which is more like 1500 dollars.

So help me out. I know both companies make good stuff. But should I go with the Synergy Starter or the AEV 2.5? Seems like the AEV is more bang for the buck, no?

I know you deciding between two lifts but I have used Teraflex 2.5 coil with 285/70/17 tires and loved it. I even sprang extra for the optional biltsien 5100 shocks and it only cost 750 total. You should at least add it to your decision.

Teraflex was a close third choice. I fact, I even consisted their 1.5 lift because I don't want too much gap.

You might see if this offer still stands. I got this deal for about $850 with Fox 2.0 IFP shocks. This price was delivered to my door. TF is one of the best suspension manufactures.

Since you mentioned the teraflex 1.5, I'll tell you what I did. My first jk a 2010 I used the Teraflex 2.5 coil as stated before LOVED it, I traded for a 2013 but didnt remove the lift. This time I needed something a little cheaper so I bought the Teraflex leveling kit (spacer) 2" and 1" rear, Now I know its no fancy coil lift but for $130 including shipping, You cannot beat it. Not to complicate your decision but if money is a issue, you should really look into it.

So. To throw another choice on ya is BDS. all the other posters have valid takes on some good kits but BDS is another good choice with many good reviews. I run the 3 inch with Fox tuned shocks

I run the BDS 4.5 with fox adj say bar and Aev geometry correction brackets. Rides and drives great with 35 inch tires.
