An leave the left over glue from the stickers on the visor..... Let those passengers who think they need to block the sun from their eyes feel your rebellion!

Depends on how much you wanna spend.

Nice Rubber Floor mats - I like Weather Tech
Neoprene seat covers - I use Cover King, didn't know anything about em' but so far they're really nice.

My first major purchase was a Super Chips Jeep Flashpaq. Its a good first mod because you can adjust fuel economy right off the bat and use it to make adjustments as you make other mods i.e. tire size.

the sticker removal is also the first thing i did and I do still have some of the glue on the visors guess its just not impotant enough to me to get rid of it. But you should really figure out what you want to actually do with it before you start modding. I went pretty mild and i am very happy as i have a good daily driver but can hit up some good trails with it as well.

If we're talking real mods to help you wheel.........

Depends on your Jeep. If it's a Rubi just wheel it stock for awhile. If it's a Sahara or an X, get some decent 32" mud tires and a set of JKS swaybar discos and then wheel it for awhile. You'll figure out what you want to do from there.

I've wheeled with a variety of stock JKs (non Rubicon) and they do remarkably well. But the OP wanted to know what we would do for our first mods. Decent tires and discos make a world of difference.

1) (If you have a mister/misses) Get them something nice to distract them from all the money and time you'll be spending on your new... uhhhh... hobby...

2) Turn you rear view mirror upside down.

3) https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...should-be-done

4) Check for guys selling their Rubi take off tires. It's an economical way to go out and play without breaking the bank.

5) Mud... yup, definitely need to get some mud.

Spend a couple evenings trolling around the forum and see what you like. At the end of the day, you should go out and buy/mod whatever helps make your jeep YOURS... that's the fun of it.

Welcome to the club!
