I run toyos. they are good on road, last a long time, and dont make huge amounts of noise (they arnt quiet tho) BUT they arnt great in the snow, very heavy tires, expensive and quite stiff for a road tire. I run them cause I find them unbeatable offroad, not for their road manners. But they are decent for a big M/T tire.

Does anyone know the stock weight for these tires?

I have found that the Toyo is 94lbs from their site. But the BFG and Goodyear sites didnt have that info that I could find.

At this point from what I have read and the feedback I have received I am leaning toward the Toyos.. Thanks everyone for your input.

I'm trying to decide as well and would pick toyos in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the weight. They are 100 lbs heavier (set of 5) than the other two, but they have the width I want.

I hear you thats the only thing that even made it a question for me. But I will carry around the extra 100 lbs in order to have the durability and footprint Im looking for on the trail. That was my justification anyhow.

Should consider the Cooper STT's...Similar tread to the Toyo's, lighter weight & cheaper on the pocket book. I have been running Toyo M/T's on my trucks for the last few years and the Toyo's wear very well and have been awesome for sidewall protection and not chunking and I never had a flat tire on Toyo's running them hard on Forest Service roads!

However, I have converted over to the STT's on my Jeep and now my Diesel truck (Forestry Work). I find the STT's just as good as the Toyo's performance wise, wear, quietness, off-road traction. If you are considering lots of rock crawling or areas were you are subjecting your sidewalls to sharp objects....go with the Toyos! Also, another great thing about the Toyo's I never needed any wt to balance 3 sets of M/T's I had on my Diesel truck.
