Question Help Me oUt With My Warning Lights....!!!!

I just got a 4" lift put on, and there is a ESP/BAS light on, as well as my traction control light. Occasionally, (what feels like ABS kicking in) engages at speed and it is unbearable. Does anyone have any experience with this issue? Could it be an allignment issue?

Thanks

Was your steering wheel recentered?

Default Welcome to the club

I'm in a similar situation. Number 1, if you changed tires/gears, and haven't yet, is to get your computer reflashed (I used hypertech for mine)

Assuming you have or didn't change anything other than the lift, Number 2: (summarized from eddie's write-up):

1) center steering wheel
2) toe-in 1/8" (assuming 35" tires, 37" = 1/8" toe-out)
3) center axle
4) caster +6 degree - 7 degree

All of these are well explained in the write-up. If none of these work, two other options:

1) Have dealer decrease sensitivity of ESP
2) disable ESP via steering wheel, right, left, routine
3) use the switch route.

Good luck. Please publish your results so others can benefit.
