Correct, I dont have a Tcase... 2wd... the conversion is actually quite simple... done the research and it really isnt too hard a job... Going with rubi axles and instead of buying a used Tcase I am just gonna get an atlus.

I could get a nice used Tcase and a rubi crawler but it would be close to the cost of an atlus. I'd rather just get an atlus.

I missed that. Was looking at the first post. That makes sense now.

Take some time to look at the whole picture as in maybe saving a few bucks now might make you regret your decision a bit further down the road. You want something that works good in the sand. The 2.72 is a little low. The 1.0 is a little high. 2.0 works really well. You wanna do rocks. 2.72 is a little high. It'll work, but.... 4.0 or higher is really nice for crawling up and down things. Maybe look at the Atlas four speed. I have the 1.0 -2.0 -2.72 -5.44 It serves me well wherever I am. Some hemi guys had some problems with them and Atlas is doing a bit of a redesign due to a lubrication issue. As far as I know, it's been working fine for us with the stock engine. If you don't want stock the /C and Rubicrawler ( can't do the two stick roundabout -front dig- with that setup anyways) then take a look at the Atlas 4 speed for your all around driving pleasure.
