Default Help, need some advice!

I want to lift my stock 2013 Jeep Wrangler 2.8 CRD Moab, to mount 33-35" tires, andkeep all the rest original bumpers etc. Not sure if the (Rubicon) wheels willbe OK, so I need some help of experienced members!

I drivemostly highway miles, so a decent drivability is very important for me.

Read the sticky at the top of this forum https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modi...-lifts-288269/

There are a lot of companies that make RHD CRD compatible lifts. Teraflex and AEV both do. You don't technically need to lift your jeep to fit 33-35" tires, just some wheel spacers and some strategic trimming.

Thanks, but I want to keep everything original, so some lift will be required!

This is what I would like to achieve...

That looks like a 3.5" lift with 20 inch wheels and 35s. It also has AEV bumpers.

You do need to have the correct backspacing on the wheels, typical is 4.5" for a 35x12.5 tire. You can get that with a 1.5" wheel spacer and your stock wheels. Depending on country or state/province you may not be allowed to run spacers.

It's just an example... we cant stick more then 3cm/ 1,25" out of the fenders, so that's a point of concern too!

Spacers is no problem...

I also want to level it! Could a 2" spacer kit from AEV do the job?

Yes, with that kit you'd fit 33" tires. It comes with everything you'd need with the exception of wheel spacers.

Ok, I was looking for LT285/75R17 Nitto Ridge Grappler 117/114Q C/6 Ply BSW Tires
Ridge Grappler Light Truck Tire

Slightly bigger at 33.86", what size wheelspacer do I need?

Most tires will measure slightly smaller than they're rated for but that still comes out to about a 33x11 tire. I have never run that size on a stock wheel so I cannot comment on what type of rubbing you will encounter. The places it can rub is the stock front plastic air dam, the sway bar and the control arm. You may be fine without a spacer, your mileage may vary.

Generally speaking, you want a 1.5" hub centric wheel spacer. At that width you will clear the wheel studs without the need to trim the studs which isn't generally recommended. Running spacers is like running a second wheel, you must be doubly mindful and careful to torque all fastener correctly and evenly.

You could put a couple washers on your steering stops. I run the AEV 2" spacer lift with 285 70R17 Duratracs on the stock wheels with no rubbing. I put 2 washers on both the drivers and passenger side steering stops.
