I am currently trying to put the differential back in the housing of my dana 30 front end and cannot no matter what technique I try get it to seat properly. I had to pull it out with a pry bar but I cant seem to find a way to pry it back in. If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it. I really dont want to have this thing towed from my garage. Thanks.

 

ok, i finally got it, put the washers and races in the freezer for a while to contract the metal and that gave me the little bit of play i needed.
