So I bought some Tom woods driveshafts. I go to to take the rear driveshaft off and it would not come off at the diff!!! And before you ask yes I took all the bolts out. And as far as I could tell there was no real good place to pry it off. Anyone have a tricks or tips to help?

I tried that but maybe I'll get a bigger hammer next time.

If ya look on the pumpkin side of the flange there are 2 holes 180* appart (in addition to the 8 threaded holes). Use a hammer and flat end punch thru those 2 holes and tap a bit thru 1 then rotate the shaft and tap thru the other. You'll slowly but surely walk it out.

A dead blow and a rubber mallet knocked mine loose real easy. Just gotta make sure you put enough M.A.N. behind it and be aware of when it comes loose.

Hit it with some WD40 and use a mallet, it will break loose after the WD penetrates the dirt and rust.
