Edit: sorry just realized their web site makes it hard to link. Search under wrangler and then build components and its like the 4th product down the list.

When I had my ORE LCA skids welded on, I had them weld the insides of the control arm skds. THe good thing about the rockcrawler ones is that becuase they're a signel piece of metal with the skid, it offers some lateral stability over the stock ones. Seems like the way to go over gettings some replacement stockers.

ratchet straps worked for a while. loosing the front driveshafts didn't help. it is a good story. I ran a trail called carnage canyon. i was in the middle of a notch and my driveshaft wisted shearing in two. so then i was stuck in my tracks. i had to be winched back off. the problem was that now i had to choose go back down or get winched over this and every other obstacle in front of use. i chose back thinking gravity and my winch would get me the half mile back to the trail entrance. but every time my front tires hit a rock they could not easily roll over my wheel would dig in and put pressure on the mounts making one fold over and brake off. this trail was by far the hardest trail i have ever tryed. her is a description of the trail. i got through the waterfall with minor body damage. but the next notch got me.
