Default Help with seatbelt light

Im installing 3 point harnesses so i took out my stock seatbelts. I figured out how to make it not beep, but i have a seatbelt light on and i think an airbag light on.....................any ideas?

connect the wires that complete the circuit for the belt alarm?

leave the female piece in and go buy a seatbelt clip (male) piece from a junkyard. click the pieces together and tie them under the seat. Should solve the problem.

is that the only way? i have my back seats out as well as the carpet and think that might look a little shitty. However if thats all i guess it will have to do thanks

Dunno about ours, but like the above poster stated, making a complete circuit turns off the warning for most vehicles. So you take the 2 wires going to the latch and connect them.

if you ditched your factory belts and dont plan on going back why not just cut the male buckle off and plug it in, problem solved

There is a thread on here for seatbelt light disable. Some have said it has worked but it didn't for me. I just cut the male portion off and plugged it into the female portion.

their are two wires going to the female part of the belt... just cut them and connect the wires... no more light

okay....................so i cut off the clicker part of the belt and connect those two wires together? do i have to do anything with the connector that goes into my stock seat or the connector that the old seatbelt connects to?

I haven't gotten around to snipping wires yet. Someday. Until then there's first aid tape.
