Default Help steering???

Hey guys,

so today i put on my 1.5 inch spidertrax spacers and then right after wanted to go drive for a bit, shortly after taking off i noticed anything past 20 miles an hour i get the craziest wobble of my steering wheel on earth. i thought it was a lose wheel and checked, but all my wheels were fine, and yesterday my sway bar disconnects got stuck so i took em out and put them back... dont know if they sway bar could make your steering wheel shake as crazy as this?

So HELPPP please is it maybe a spacer that isnt tightened right?
could it be the sway bar?

I have no idea?? i went mudding before and know sometimes a lot of mud can make it seem like that but this is realllyyy intense.

Thanks really need the help on this one

When you installed the spacers, did you pull off all of the small metal rings that were on each of the lugs? These are installed at the factory to hold the rotors in but must be removed before installing the spacers. Otherwise, the spacers will be "tightened" to the correct torque, but not be flush against the rotors and will cause an imbalance...

Also check whether your ESC light is coming on. If the steering wheel is no longer centered, the ESC will try to take over if it senses incorrectly that you are in a skid. Pretty un-nerving . . .

^^^^^^^
X's 14

That's how many were on my wheels studs.

I just installed Spidertrax spacers. There were 4 clips on each rear and 3 on each front.

If you didn't remove them or missed even one you will get "wobbly steering"

Yes, this things will keep your wheel spacers from seating properly. Take some tin snips and cut them off!!

After a long day of looking over everything, messing with the tires and spacers I found out the wobble came from 40lbs of mud on my front left tire and another load on my right tire thank god nothing serious, thanks for the help guys
