The only reason I got $400 is according to insurance, only the "bumper cover" was messed up, still its an excuse for a bumper, cheap or not, me wants a stubby!!!

As for the Rancho, Anyone got pics of it with fog lights installed?

Every pic I see online has no fogs...

So...what do you all think...The Rancho for $300 or the TeraFlex blemished for $200?

Heres the Rancho...

Heres the TeraFlex...

I'm going to add a poll...

So some a**hole hit me today. My front bumper toast...but lucky for me, he was at fault and my insurance is paying out $400...thus I have a budget of $400 for a new front stubby.

Heres what I want:

Spots for factory fog lights
D rings, or tow hooks
Possibly a winch mount, not sure, if I want to get a winch mount or not
I want something that looks good and not like some super cheap p.o.s.

Any suggestions are a big help, keep in mind my budget of $400. I've looked at a lot of stubbies over time, and am not sure which ones hold up the best (no rust, no chipping of powder coat, etc.).

Also any links to previous posts people know of would be great, I did a search and got like a million results.

Thanks in advance.
I'd say since you want a "stubby" the best choice would be the Rancho (from the options you listed at least). Would be nice if they had thicker Shackle Mounts like ShrockWorks has but it's still a beast from the pics at least.

I got it from a thread about the TeraFlex basic RockGuard, it looks so similar to the PureJeep, I did a double take too.

Heres the original thread, its posted as the TeraFlex bumper so I'm guessing that has to be it. ---> https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-show-tell-33/teraflex-rockguard-basic-bumper-anyone-55717/

I am sort of leaning towards the TF because of the price and I kind of like the sides a little better, but am a little nervous about the "blemishes." Although I'm sure after a couple trail runs it'd be blemished anyway. Just can't decide, I feel like the Rancho looks a little stronger but am not sure...

Here is the Rancho Stubby. I like it. It is simple. I never had fog lights so I'm not sure if they will fit. The hole measures 2 1/2 in.
