Help! Subwoofer security

Recently upgraded my sound system in my wrangler and want to secure the sub box in the back so I do not have I worry about someone stealing it. The best top instatrunk is too expensive. Any ideas?

Bolt it to the tailgate and put a layer or two of dynamat between the mounting surfaces.
