Default Help with Tire Advice

Hi,
I am currently looking into the XD Series XD122 Enduro Wheel, in the brushed aluminum, not the matt black, and was wondering who was running them, and how they like them?

I'm getting a bit of feedback from the Hubs, because he thinks that the sidewall slits, might get a lot of dirt and crap caught into it and not be able to get cleaned to easily. Also, I'm hearing that they might pit or chip on the finish. I am already having problems with my factory wheel pitting, (I have a Sahara with 18's), The only wheel that HE seems to like is the Mickey Thompson's Classic Wheel II, because of the clean lines, and ease of care. I think that they are a nice, but a bit plain.

So, if anybody has these tires, please let me know what you think of them.

Thanks!

Caron

Those rims will not be bad to clean up.

Your Stock Sahara rims are looking pited and bad because of the harsh winter road conditions play havoc on Aluminum Alloy wheels & the coating and the main reason Sahara rims are looking pited.

My suggestionrun your Sahara rims during the winter months with a winter tire or M&S rated. This way your new XD rims get to avoid the harsh time of winter with salt, gravel, sand, etc. beating on your fancy rims keeping them looking good for many years.
