Help: What is this? Sway Bar Link?? Is it stock?
I need some help ID'ing this component...
1. What is it called?
2. Is it stock or aftermarket?
3. What should I replace it with?
The drivers side connector is broken. It won't stay connected.
It's either a stock piece, or possibly from a BDS lift kit.
I have a 3" BDS lift, and I can't remember if it was a part of that or not.
I'm trying to decide if I should take it to the dealership and get it replaced (lifetime bumper-to-bumper ($100 deductable), or if it's part of the BDS lift kid (it has a lifetime warranty), or if i should just upgrade it to something new/better.
as of now, I have 35" tires, 3" BDS lift, rugged ridge XHD front bumper, & superwinch on a 4 door unlimited rubicon. if that helps.
Thanks.

Being disconnected is great for offroad, but lets the body roll too much for onroad. If you need to run disconnected for a while, you can. Just take it easy and keep the speed down, especially in corners.
