Have you chosen which swap kit you will use? Once you do that, contact the company you have selected and they should be able to provide with a detailed list of everything you need.

You are going to find ALOT of people (Myself Included) are choosing to go with chevrolet LS power for several reasons over the Hemi. Things like more power, runs cooler , weighs less , better MPG , a ridiculous transmission and tremendous aftermarket support. Look Up LSWRANGLER on the www for a list of stuff.

I think you misunderstood me. In order to actually do a swap, you need a swap kit from companies like AEV or BOR which include motor mounts and all the electronics to make the engine work in the Jeep. Choose whose kit you want to use and then contact that company. They will give you all the info on what additional parts you will need.

With all that said, ToolManTimTaylor is right...

They have install kits that you buy. Depending on the engine size you want. You can source the engine via Ebay or wherever .. believe me they are out there!! The 6L80E transmission is an awesome piece. The only thing to make sure of is that you get the gas pedal , ecm and harness that came with the engine when removed. I am doing mine and am actually getting close to ordering my kit soon

I'm sure that your jk will be awesome, and a complete thread with pics and important things will be perfect for newbies like me!!!! But I'll try to have a good result!!!
I'm looking also for Fox shocks this will be good if I have the swap in a few months or it would be better to look for something else that I'll need ????????
Also which kit you are looking for AEV...?

Hey buddy,

Lookup my build thread or just do a search on hemi or hemi conversions or swaps. I did mines in December and probably the cheapest you'll find it done on this site. I went with the AEV kit and came out of pocket altogether about $10,500.00. That's engine, tranny, misc. parts, conversion kit and labor.
