Hemi swap
OK so for a while now I have been thinking or supercharging the little V6 but with a new hemi kit that allows the use of thr truck Hemi's and tranny, it has brought the cost down to about $8000.

I have total confidence I can pull off this swap at home with the help of a few buddies. Together we have all the tools and skills needed to perform the swap.
Does anyone have any good vids of a jeep with a 5.7 Hemi?
Also is anyone running there Dana 44's with a stock 5.7?
I know my buddy runs a chevy 12 bolt rear and a old dana 44 front in his pickup and doesnt seem to have any problems and he has a 350 with bolt ons and a full dual exhaust, I figure the new gen 44's in the rubicon have to be as tough as those axles...
Any info, real world advise or vids would be greatly appreciated

There are all kinds of videos on you tube. Just search for Hemi JK or Hemi Jeep. There are several. I assume you mean videos of them in action....

Yes, I am running stock Rubicon D44s with a 5.7L and 37" MTRs. I wheeled it all summer in CO without an issue. A friend of mine has the 6.1L hemi and he added RCVs in front. He wheels hard and has had zero issues.
I did plenty of difficult trails, but I tend to wheel with attention on breakage. Once I get my RCVs installed, I have full confidence in doing any trail.
Who is making a kit for truck motors?

There are numerous vids on Youtube of JK's with HEMIs.
There are also a number of good threads in Xtreme JK sub-forum on this topic including discussion of best engines, swap kits, time required, etc.
You are fortunate to have a skilled set of friends.

Thanks guys I was worried about having to change axles too, The wife is allowing the hemi swap if I can keep it around $8000 but there is no way I will get axles out of her. I have found a motor and tranny for $4000 out of a rolled 2008 ram with 13,000kms on it

Does anyone know of anybody that has a Hemi Conversion Kit available for the 2012 JK I contacted AEV and they are still working on the kit and they are not sure how long before they have it available

I would have got a smokin' deal on a 2011 (or older) and done the conversion.
On the positive side I'm sure there are plenty of people on this site that would pay decent money for a 3.6
