Default HEMI Swap Problems...

2008 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara with the AEV 5.7 Hemi VVT conversion Kit.

The install went good and the Jeep started up with no major issues. Tried to take it for it's first drive and when I put the gear selector in D it displays 4 on the cluster as if it's in 4th gear. Scanned it and found code p0882. I am assuming it must be in limp mode.

Does anyone have any recommendations on further diagnosing this issue? The scanner recognizes the Jeep as a 2008 Wrangler with the stock engine and stock transmission. BUT:

The harness AEV uses is a 2013 Grand Cherokee
The HEMI engine is from a 2013 Challenger
The 545RFE transmission is from a 2011 Ram 1500

So...how would one access the TCM via the scanner if the VIN tells the scanner it has a stock engine and transmission? Do we manually enter the VIN from one of our "donor vehicles" and if so which one?

It starts up and sounds great! The install went smoothly other than this...and it REALLY WANTS TO DRIVE...

I'd make a call to AEV.

Default Solved...

In case anyone ever reads this thread having the same issue: Problem was resolved by replacing transmission valve body including the solenoid pack. AEV has pretty good support just hard to get ahold of them in my off hours due to the time zone difference.
