Default hi-lift mount

Ok, I've been thinking about moving the mount location of my hi-lift. Right now it's on the driver-side all the way in the back between the roll bar and rear side window. It's a nice location but a pain in the backside to get out, not to mention I am worried about breaking the window pulling it out or putting it in. I am looking for a new location to mount it either on the hood or should I mount it on my Gobi roof rack?

I keep mine under the rear seat of my unlimited. Keeps it out of the weather and out of sight for people who would possible want it more than me.... I know it doesn't look cool there but I have it I ever need it.

Wo someone else in Manassas.

If had a roof rack that is were I would put. I like keeping mine in a convenient location so it is on the tailgate.

Wow, northern va guys popping up all over. I had mine in the hood but recently moved it to the rear bumper to add a 20" light bar. The hood was the easiest place to get it far in my opinion.

Just mounted mine (RC mount) As mentioned above if I had a gobi, that's where it would be.

How does it fit there? I think that's a perfect place to store it but I have no idea how you got it in there...

Can you post pics? I would love to fit my extreme hi-lift there. Since the tailgate options don't work for it because of the huge square base.
