Try running them around the sport bar and under the padding. You will have to lengthen the wires, though.

I did my tub also and thinking of doing some thing with some aluminum stock bent into an L shape and bolted to the underside of the tub lip and extending down to meet the wheelwell. the PVC pipe idea seems viable also. If I get something done and it looks OK I'll post some pics here.

I dont think it looks horrable at all just see them in the rear but there under the lip maybe a 4 door looks worse then my 2 dr?
