Default High idle

Not sure if it belongs here, but the other day I started noticing after driving around town for a bit. When I start off in 1st and push the clutch in to coast (to move forward a little I needed) my RPM's stay high. Around 22 houndred. Almost like I'm still on the throttle. Any thoughts? 08 51k 6sp KN CAI.
My first thought is to clean the throttle body. Bought the rig used. Doubt it's ever been done.
Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure its supposed to do that, every obd2 equipped manual transmission vehicle I've every owned will hold the rpms a few hundred over idle when the wheels are moving and it won't drop until about 1 mph.
I believe this is supposed to happen to keep power to accessories and the break booster and anything else that needs power until the vehicle has almost completely stopped. I might be wrong as to why that happens but I'm pretty sure its normal assuming its not hanging at like 2500 rpm...if its just hovering a few hundred over I wouldnt worry, however cleaning you throttle body won't hurt either
