This is gonna sound really dumb, but check your seats. I had an older truck that made a noise similar to what you are describing, drove me nuts for about a year. One day I was pulling the carpet to run some wiring and noticed the seat bracket was cracked........needless to say figured out what was making the noise. Ran a quick bead over it and no more squeak/chirping.

yeah, my seats have always squeaked. guess they don't like 280lbs in them!
but this noise is definately from outside underneath.

I think I found it! I found a couple of posts about pinion seal squeaks. Gonna check that out.

yeah, I've already had the clutch TSB done at 10k miles.
