High steer kit
How much of an improvement is the high steer kit on Rock Krawler lifts? Is it worth it to get the Max Travel System over the X factor lift? Or is the X factor by itself good, or comprable to stock, driving wise?
a high steer kit typically just gets your steering components like your tie rod, a little more up and out of the way. it shoudln't change the way your jeep drives and you would be fine with their normal kit. now, depending on how much lift you have, a drag link flip and track bar relocation bracket install will help improve your handling but, that is not the same thing.

well, if it comes with a track bar relocation bracket, it has to come with a drag link flip or dropped pitman arm and, correcting your steering geometry with something like this will help with your handling.

just to make sure we're on the same page, that relocation bracket that comes with your kit is for the FRONT axle and not the rear, correct? it's pretty common for a kit to come with a rear relocation bracket and an adjustable front track bar without a relocation bracket.

front steering correction isn't "required" but, if you find that your handling is not quite as good as you would prefer, yes, you would need to get something separately to address it like a draglink flip/front track bar relocation system.
