Default Hill assist question

Not that I mind....but after I had my jeep regeared and put truetracs in both front and rear I noticed the hill assist feature no longer engages. I never really liked the feature and it took me awhile to get used to it so I'm not complaining its gone but I'm just wondering why? Or could this be for some other reason?

I'm not sure about yours; but on my 2012; I can turn this on/off from the driver info center (or whatever jeep calls it).

Yes I can turn mine off to. I think I've seen a right up about it? But in this case I never did that. I wonder if it has anything to do with changing the front carrier to the truetrac?

I think it's a coincidence that it turned off when it did. It should have nothing to do with what's in the diffs.

Some of the user programmable features have been known to have a mind of their own sometimes, too.
Every once in a while on mine the door locks revert to the opposite of what I have programmed. I'll have to go in and reset them to what I want.

Like others said it can be set in the vehicle info center ( I think I'm making that up). Just go in and see if its on or off. If off maybe the installers turned it off for some reason. Did you ask them? If its set to be on and not working just mention it at the next maintenance.

I guess I'll have to look into it further to see. I don't mind it being off but since I didn't knowingly turn it off I just want to be sure it's not a problem going on with my computer or anything.
