Default Hitch Install ?'s

Hey All, anyone install their own hitch? If so where did you get it at, and which brand? How much will this set me back? I have a 2009 Sahara and there is a small notch where I assume a hitch can be bolted on. I have a small trailer that I use to haul things back and forth to my cabin and such. I believe it is a 5'x8' trailer that I use to use for my quad (as the kids came the toys went) Any answers are appreciated, Thanks in advance. wing79

I installed mine, i have no idea what i paid. You can get one from your local dealer or many places online. Don't forget the wiring harness, you will have to get it separately. I use mine for a small 4x6 trailer.

This is the easiest hitch I have ever installed. Takes just a couple of minutes. I believe I have seen aftermarket versions for about $70. Not sure how much the wiring kit it, but I used the mopar version and it worked great. Also just took a couple of minutes.

It's only for bolts and took me less than five mind to remove my tow hook (3 bolts) and put in the hitch.

Quadratec has them, around $99, get the wiring kit as well, all you have to do is take out the left rear light, plug and play!

Totally easy install IF all the holes are drilled in the frame. With mine it seems that the DC robot got lazy and forgot to drill one!

I woudlnt bother with the wiring kit from the dealer, you can get a plug and play one for cheaper aftermarket
