Hitch/wiring install
ah, ok.
mine is plugged as well. (my plate is centered on my spare) I dont get the no spare thing either though, i would feel vulnerable without a spare along, but some people dont mind. Lots of jeeps locally missing the spare.
The zombie response vehicle sticker is kinda funny though.

Everybody keeps talking about a tow hook...mine didn't come with a tow hook, WTF!! Everything seems pretty easy. I wouldn't think that you would need a grounding strap
isn't the original wiring grounded?....and the wiring harness is in parallel with the original wiring (which is grounded)...so why the need for additional grounding? sounds like overkill

I just installed mine (mopar) and the 1st of the 5 plastic screws dosen't have a hole anywhere near it to put it in. Did you have any problem like this. I guess its not that big of a deal but I don't really like it being close to the tire. I guess I could drill a small hole for it.
If you'd like to save a few bucks on that tow hitch, keep an eye on the for sale
and freebie sections. Plenty of folks install rear bumpers that don't
accommodate the stock hitch and they therefore remove it. If you want to be
really aggressive, learn which bumpers don't accommodate the stock hitch, then
PM anyone who is installing one to see if they have a hitch they might let you
have. It took me a few months of stalking, but that's basically how I scored a
new hood (one without hail stone damage, that is). It should be a lot quicker
for a hitch, since many more folks are installing rear bumpers and you don't
have to fuss with color matching. LOL.
